Thematic Joint Strategic Framework

ARES, VLIR-UOS, and ITM are three key actors in higher education in Belgium. For the 2022–2027 period, they are combining their expertise to implement a joint strategy in support of sustainable development.

Together, under the Joint Strategic Framework "Higher Education and Science for Sustainable Development" (HES4SD), they are unlocking the development potential of Belgian academic and scientific cooperation and that of their partners. In doing so, they contribute to achieving societal change driven by the academic world and grounded in a scientific approach.
